The TU engine

The TU engine was a popular choice in the lower specification 306s during their production. There was two TU engines used, the 8 valve 1.4L and 1.6 8 valve. These can be identified by a single cam cover. If you have a bigger petrol engine in your 306 then please see the 'XU' section of the forum. If you have a diesel engine, please see either the 'XUD' section or the 'HDi' section depending on which engine you have in your car.
