So I picked up a 306 HDi DTurbo in moonstone blue (really does look good) with 88,000 miles, 00 reg and the only modification (at present!) is a flushed bonnet and grille. To start the project I cleaned up the body and began the cleaning of the interior. Gradually going to update as it slowly transforms

It's not hard. Also, not sure I'd use my full name on a PB account but that's up to you. I think you copied the wrong link though lol.
Thanks! Every time I tried it wouldn't work, that's pretty embarrassing Name doesn't bother me much, between fb and any other social network but you're right, prob smarter not to.
Driving in the rain wondering why my wiper wasn't moving, got out to find this
due to be replaced although it doesn't look bad without the wiper! if I tidied it up properly Quick clean up of the seats and door cards and it was looking sharper, hoping to get some mats soon engine bay could do with some more cleaning

I want to hear more about the Citreon DS. My all time favourite car that we owned as a family. Would love to get one of those one day! Need to get a place with a heated garage for it to live first!

Tied up with endless other jobs at the moment, got time to remove the spring from the clutch pedal today
can someone tell me what the switch is for beside the clutch pedal? just curious
10-09-2014, 03:15 PM
I believe it sends a signal to the ECU that the clutch has been activated and fueling is reduced.
I may be wrong tho. Thanks given by: Will

It's so that the revs don't drop to idle between gear changes, you'll notice they 'hang'
Ahh, I'm also told it's an old citroen trick, I did notice alright but didn't put two and two together

#Readthebloodythread #soddingnewbies #lrn2forum Want to see those wheels on in bronze, sounds ideal. (19-05-2015, 12:35 PM)Eeyore Wrote: That looks great. Is the citroen in the background yours? The bronze and moonstone blue should make for a nice combo, once I get these exams done they'll be getting a full refurb. |
