Project number one - Will - 23-08-2014 So I picked up a 306 HDi DTurbo in moonstone blue (really does look good) with 88,000 miles, 00 reg and the only modification (at present!) is a flushed bonnet and grille. To start the project I cleaned up the body and began the cleaning of the interior. Gradually going to update as it slowly transforms RE: Project number one - Orta - 24-08-2014 Pic aren't working buddy ;-) RE: Project number one - Will - 24-08-2014 I think they work now RE: Project number one - mcvite - 24-08-2014 Looks very nice mate, enjoy RE: Project number one - Dum-Dum - 24-08-2014 Looks alright that. If you put afterwards then they'll appear without people having to click on them. RE: Project number one - Will - 24-08-2014 Plans: Lower, probably 40mm and the back 2 nicks( it seems easier) Decat Mechanical boost controller and boost gauge fmic and slim fans Stage 2 map New clutch(sacks I'm thinking) Lightweight 16" alloys (have eyes on wedssports tc005 not sure how they'll look) Pick up DTurbo mats RE: Project number one - Will - 24-08-2014 (24-08-2014, 12:30 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote: Looks alright that. I tried that a few times but it wouldn't show the images, I'll give it a go again RE: Project number one - Daniel306 - 24-08-2014 There is a button at the top of the reply window, click it then just paste the link in the box RE: Project number one - Will - 24-08-2014 maybe the files are too big? I tried both ways but neither seemed to work RE: Project number one - Daniel306 - 24-08-2014 Ah, i normally upload them to photo bucket first RE: Project number one - Toms306 - 25-08-2014 It's not hard. Also, not sure I'd use my full name on a PB account but that's up to you. I think you copied the wrong link though lol. RE: Project number one - Will - 25-08-2014 Thanks! Every time I tried it wouldn't work, that's pretty embarrassing Name doesn't bother me much, between fb and any other social network but you're right, prob smarter not to. RE: Project number one - Will - 31-08-2014 Driving in the rain wondering why my wiper wasn't moving, got out to find this due to be replaced although it doesn't look bad without the wiper! if I tidied it up properly Quick clean up of the seats and door cards and it was looking sharper, hoping to get some mats soon engine bay could do with some more cleaning RE: Project number one - impotentials - 31-08-2014 Whats the classic in the background, that looks awesome. Good luck with the build, not sure about the upgraded aerials. Lol'ish RE: Project number one - Piggy - 31-08-2014 Think thats a citroen DS isnt it? Would love to get one of those one day! Need to get a place with a heated garage for it to live first! RE: Project number one - maxlee - 01-09-2014 defo need to put up some DS pics RE: Project number one - Will - 09-09-2014 Tied up with endless other jobs at the moment, got time to remove the spring from the clutch pedal today can someone tell me what the switch is for beside the clutch pedal? just curious RE: Project number one - Adam-m-h - 10-09-2014 I believe it sends a signal to the ECU that the clutch has been activated and fueling is reduced. I may be wrong tho. RE: Project number one - Midnightclub - 10-09-2014 It's so that the revs don't drop to idle between gear changes, you'll notice they 'hang' RE: Project number one - Will - 10-09-2014 Ahh, I'm also told it's an old citroen trick, I did notice alright but didn't put two and two together RE: Project number one - Will - 18-05-2015 College has me very busy and the 306 is off the road until I can get it registered here, 2.0 HDi 110 Xsara to keep me moving for the momentt. In the mean time I picked up a set of a c5 "steelies", I'm loving how light they are. They need a good clean up though. Well worth the €40 I paid for them. The bronze and moonstone blue should make for a nice combo, once I get these exams done they'll be getting a full refurb. |
