Yeah, it's got so much potential now! !

Can't wait for a video mate!!

Not until I have a MAF

I have my doubts.. But we'll see soon enough!

I may have missed or already asked but what clutch you got?

A 4 paddle CG, but it was 2nd hand, and slipped like a biatch. Seems ok now though.

My helix 4 paddle is holding strong mate. But it was re plated. That's with stage 2 map so if ures isn't mapped should b alright.
24-01-2013, 10:39 PM
We'll see how it goes, can always whip it out and get it re plated if needs be..

Ok so i need to turn the boost down
MAF sensor fitted, go out for a drive, hit 25 psi so quick it was untrue, then the gauge went to 0. Bonnet up and it had blown the gauge pipe out of the inlet elbow I'll get under it at some point and back off the wastegate a bit, just have to drive gently for now though. And I need a passenger to video, got one today but it's so bad I CBA uploading it. Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

Fitted my new lower brace this evening, backed off the WG arm while I was at it.
And managed to bodge my engine cover on over the brace, so it's a stealth brace lol Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

Do you not have any sort of boost controller?
30-01-2013, 10:29 PM
Yeah but it was wound right out and still had too much preload on the arm

Ah ok, I got lucky when I bodged my actuator on, my controller works perfectly.
31-01-2013, 01:08 AM
I bet this is powerful once its all mapped up
31-01-2013, 07:36 AM
That's the intention

Lol. That was fun. Now the boost is turned down its a bit laggier but feck me when it comes on blow
Its so much fun now!! Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

21psi max, but I reckon I over did it backing off the wg, it was picking up super fast before but it's now a bit laggy, there's not much under 3k. good news is that the clutch holds a bit better at that, but I want that early spool up that I know it's capable of.

Shouldn't be laggier if it's got a boost controller, surely, thought that was half the point of the things: eliminate wg creep..?
01-02-2013, 08:27 AM
I'll take you out in it over the weekend mate. See what you think.

Depends what boost controller? Bleed? Ball and spring? Electronic.
Also, remember when you adjust the wastegate arm, you can inadvertently set the wastegate itself so that it either won't open all the way or won't close all the way. That's why I would always say, leave it set stock and adjust the controller to "hide" the signal from the actuator. JP
