Because the ride was AWFUL, TA technix and 400LB springs.

Also handles better on the 60mm ebay springs than the coilies, as the wheels actually stay on the road!

Well they're all done now.. And also fitted pressed plates, as the front was probably going to fail the MOT..

Looking really good mate, god i miss this car.
Whats the mileage on now?

Oh and the small front plate was fine on the MOT last year.

Not so sure on miles, the clocks read 125k, but I think it's on 50k

Um yeah, the plate has de laminated and there's crap in it, so it's gone.

And the back one was glued on rather well!

PMSL, anti theft screws and IIRC both were fully covered in double sided tape. Id decided that they werent coming off for shit LOL.

Thatll teach you to try and undo my mods. I do things properly these days.

Im still laughing at the thought of you going to undo them with a screwdriver and failing and thinking "f*cking bastard" getting the mole grips and getting the screws out and finding the plates were still attached and having a bit of a rage.

Go to a doctor mate, you've been nice to more than one person now. I'm worried for you!

Cheers though.. Big Grin

Well I'm collecting shiny bits at the moment:

- R70 Pump
- 23.5mm TB's
- Rear Spoiler
- Solid rear beam mounts
- Turbo

And a few other bits...

Looking really nice, such a clean car. we seem to share taste when it comes to mods if you look at the details but overall have completely different cars, i really need to update/actually do a project thread. keep to see how the spoiler looks.

What turbo you getting?

Pump and tb's sound good tho!

Not fully 100% on the turbo yet, I have a GT2052 here, but it'll be too much of a bugger to fit (off a landy so wrong hotside), so it's for sale.

So I need to re think.

Advice welcomed!

What size is the exhaust wheel on the 2052? Could you not get a turbo place to reem out a GT15 hotside to take it and then it would bolt straight on (baring some new boost pipes and poss oil hoses)
Reply

I'd been looking at the 2052 off a Merc c220. Then swap the cartridge over as mine's pretty much new.

But that's a good shout mate, I'll look into it. Pretty sure it's 47mm.

Will a 20 really go well into a 15 housing...? Not convinced that'll do the flow any good...

EDIT: Isn't the "52" the size of the exhaust turbine?
