Not sure how much benefit there will actually be, there has been some debate on here before as to how worthwhile they are. But looks good in a spec list I suppose! When I have the 2 together it will be interesting to make a comparison.

Cheers matey, feels good to make progress again, even if it is only small
Had my daughter last weekend so no proper progress but the temp engine came from Jacko and I started giving the pump a clean as well especially as its had 2 HG's let go on it!. I ordered a seal kit for it too as I've disturbed a few rubbers now.
The new block
And some pump porn
All done with the dremel!! Not sure on weather to carry on or to paint it and if I do paint it what colour????
Engine should be coming out tomorrow evening, all going well so hopefully another update then.

Yea, she's moving along nicely again now. The baby engine will be back in and charged over the next few weeks. But the high boost will be defo after crimbo
Goodies in the post today for the new build
Head came off tonight as well as clutch, flywheel and a few other bits
Pics as usual Block and head all seem to be in good nic. Can't see an obvious point where the hg let go but it will be between the cylinder and waterway somewhere....
Top deck and pistons look good
Is this the problem area around No.3????
What colour to paint this????
Bits collecting!!
Loads of meat left on the clutch so that can defo go into the little engine, not sure weather to get the flywheel lightened yet or not...
Tomorrow I will be cleaning up the engine bay, finally fitting some matrix hoses and tidying up a few odds and sods.

Ok time for an update. Progress has been pretty slow recently due to cash shortages, work commitments, time, etc.
But there has been things going on in the background
The good head is nearly stripped down and will be taken down to be re skimmed and tested. I also want to know if there is anything that can be done to improve flow in terms of larger valves, etc.
Also got a bit bored!
Collection of shiney bits!
Then yesterday and today I built up the spare engine
Cambelt on - I may take the engine out every time I change the belt from now on!!
Power steering pump and oil sandwich plate on
Then POW!
The difference in the 2 crank pulleys! The weight of the bigger one is about half that of the stock one too!

Increases the charger speed so more air being pushed through. IIRC Darren had that pulley made to take the charger up to about 15,000rpm which is about their limit. Pretty sure it was 15k anyway!
