Londondan's Black Supercharged XUD New Video Inside!! :D - londondan86 - 07-09-2012 Well as some will know I recently bought a P2 black dtub. Mechanically in very good nic. She has 130k on the clock but had a D8A engine fitted 5k ago which had 78k on it. Bit of rust on the bonnet but not too bad. Here are the pics from when I got it home: Immediately started swapping bits! Bosch swap Beam change Also wasnt happy with the state of the wheels so had them refurbed and powder coated How she looks today Plans are to P3 the front end (bumper, bonnet, light etc.) Refit FMIC. Fit TD04. Colour code all the rub strips door handles etc. Thoughts opinions please chaps! RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - CJ_Derv - 07-09-2012 Nice matey ive recently got a black Phase 2 with 3 bumpers on, bodywork looks great, love the wheels on this Cant wait to see the progress Nooo way just clocked i nearly bought this off ebay not long ago lol RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - Tom - 07-09-2012 This is the one i nearly bought! Well done to you though sir its looking very nice RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - londondan86 - 07-09-2012 Cheers chaps! I think quote a few on here seen this on ebay at the time. Really happy with it, only down side is that it used to have a/c which has been removed so I have no sunroof RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - Tom - 07-09-2012 After using my mums car and the a/c these past few days... no one has a good enough reason to remove it, its far far better than opening a window lol /canofworms RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - c.gerrard - 07-09-2012 Looks really smart, great job RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - gumball3000 - 08-09-2012 Looks really smart.. love the wheels!! How hard was the bosh conversion? RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - londondan86 - 09-09-2012 Cheers for the comments guys! Ive never had a car with a/c so dont really feel like I'm loosing out, lol! It already had a bosch pump on it being a D8A block so I only had to change over the pump, but a pretty easy job tbh if you are handy with the spanners. Got some bargains from the scrappy today, new bonnet, p3 bumper, new grille and crystals for.........£30!!!! They are currently moonstone but my bro in law is gona show me how to use a air paint gun next weekend so ill get some progress pics up then. RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - Joe - 09-09-2012 loving it! want to sell your p2 bumper? cheers joe RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - londondan86 - 10-09-2012 (09-09-2012, 11:07 PM)Joe Wrote: loving it! want to sell your p2 bumper? cheers joe Cheers mate. Yea defo selling the front bumper and probably the splitter as I dont think it will suit the p3 one. The paint is flaking in places but ill do it cheap. RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - Arron - 30-09-2012 Sweet car. Its lowered perfect on the back imo Londondan's Black D Turbo - Jake - 30-09-2012 No way! An XUD block that isn't covered in oil.! Never thought of see the day! RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - C.A.R. - 01-10-2012 Looks tidy. Must admit I really don't like white alloys, think these would definitely look better in silver. Personally I love the white on black, it contrasts well but yea personal tastes and all that!! Some pics from the other day: Mine and the missus new 206 RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - padge - 01-11-2012 updates! RE: Londondan's Black D Turbo - londondan86 - 10-08-2013 Well after several months of hdi ownership I bought the dt back!!! Here is how she looked when I got her home The cyclones are a bit of a mess but I still have the challengers so they will get bolted back on soon, they need balancing but there are more important things to do first...... Some may have picked up on the fact that I acquired some major Lobb hardware a month or so ago and it is now time to put it all to good use!! Yes thats his full charger setup and turbo relocation manifolds!!! So, last weekend work began... At my brother in laws (Matt who came with me to fcs) taking some before pics Decided that rather than fas around with manifold bolts in the car it would be much easier to just take the engine out and work on it out of the car Front end off, lining up the hoist And it's out, the father in law and Matt standing around!!! Empty engine bay! More coming!! The block with the td04 still attached Proper manifold on! Starting on the charger brackets! Mental pulley setup which did get sacked off in the end to keep the power steering pump. Then there was a bit of a gap in picture taking as the bttery died but go the engine back in last weekend and started routing cooler piping today. And finally shiny turbo!!! Thats where I got to today. Still to do, wiring loom, exhaust, extending water pipes, turbo oil drain, sort something with the header tank Thanks for reading, should be another update tomorrow!!
