Yeah will be better, only reason I was holding off, I was hoping some retro chrome ones would pop up...
The paint reacted for some reason though, don;t think it liked the primer. I'll see how they look tomorrow but looks like I'll have to redo them.

This is very true mate, looked good. This is a different sort of reaction though unfortunately, goes cloudy sort of thing... Hard to explain. I'll have to see how they're looking tomorrow, will try some lacquer as have nothing to lose!

Hmmm, was it warm where you were painting? Could be slight damp? Causing the reaction

Don' t know what is was tbh mate, condition seemed okay and the prep was good. Think it may have been the primer.
Anyway, re-done:
Will get it on tomorrow, will be nice to have the mirror back

Haha, it's a bit dark... will hopefully have some of it fitted tomorrow if it's a nice day...
Also have to fit my rear bumper properly, it was held on with 8 bolts and 4 screws... now held on with 6 bolts . Got home today and the bumper had dropped somewhat. It's because I need to drill out the screws that hold the corners as I had to cut them off due to rust.

I was about to point out that you haven't de-tango'd the indicators but then I remembered you have those TSIs to go on...
Looking better now though. On mine, the little plastic 'cups' under the mirrors would never sit right and didn't bloody clip in properly, so mine ended up getting double sided tape treatment!
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

Yeah I do indeed, still got to wore them in and decide what I'm doing colour wise... thinking just matt black. Which reminds me, I need to order some bullet connectors so I can just swap them over come MOT time.
Haha, mine seem to be okay actually... although after they've been off and on again who know! This one keeps coming loose so it adjusts too easily (read: on its' own), but I have a rebuild kit from eBay for that too.
