Exciting times Big Grin I'll come get involved when I'm better!

Only question, wouldn't it have made more sense to get your clutch sorted first? The poor snail won't be able to fulfill its full potential Sad

Good, hurry up already! You at work tomorrow?

And stop being sensible. The clutch will have to wait.

Yeah, I'll come in, but whether I'll last all day, i dunno!

All I'm saying is, seeming as it was slipping like a bitch, would have crossed that bridge first Smile

Well I just ordered a few hoses from ASH, got to go pick up gaskets and some gearbox oil tomorrow, then all will be (nearly) done!

Only remaining issue is how to get the actuator fitted, and I need to tap another thread in the manifold elbow for the actuator hose.

Then squeeze in all the piping and i suppose an exhaust would be useful at some point..

Getting there mate, ordered I/C pipes, gaskets are here, oil lines off the K03 fit, should probably get an exhaust sorted, and need to get an actuator on there somehow...

*WAS* tidy lol

I'd like to think by next weekend at the latest, I'll have a better idea by tomorrow evening, me and Carl are gonna put a day into it, see where we get to. TBH the only real issue I can see will be mounting the actuator, it's gonna have to be fecking close to the block/water pipe, and there's nothing to mount it to, so I may have to have a bracket welded to the compressor housing, that'll take time as I don't have anything to weld aluminium with.

It'll happen Big Grin

hmm yeah i see that issue, just grind a 'clearance dibbit' in the block, it'll be fiiine!

It's more the pipe that's the issue, and I ain't grinding the block lol

I reckon a TD04 actuator may fit better, as it's got the cranked arm.

Nah in all seriousness, getting better and better mate. This was one of the best cars chris owned but he was a bell end and sold up. Glad it went to someone who has improved it more and more!

Today's work...

Got it all sorted basically. Apart from an exhaust, and I predict the inlet piping will be a barsteward to sort.

Cleaned my inlet mani the "matt" way Big Grin

Maybe a driving video tomorrow if I can find some hose clamps!

Although that'll be weak too, as the clutch will no doubt slip like fook.
