I light the fly eyes in front.
Never really been much of a fan of fly eyes they look kind of gash when you seen them close. But the yellow ones look cool.

I had the darkest fly eyes on mine ages ago, only problem was I couldn't see when it got dark.

These seem absolutely fine for light output, don't know if that's the HID's or what tbh?

Well mine were on my A3, on standard bulbs. Lights were excellent normally, but after on one very rainy night I noticed that they were much dimmer, so pulled over and ripped them off. Might be okay for you though!

Diablo Hdi Dturbo and 205 1.9 project - it lives!

Yeah, the yellow is adding too many colours, red, white, or black are your options. Has to be the balls-out red though, surely?

Does look cool with red and the stickers.
What turbo you got on this now dude? Expected power?
12-12-2012, 11:35 PM
Expected power?
Currently zero. It's dead again, theres about 5L of oil on the M8 and to top it off I didn't realise my tx had expired so the RAC wouldn't do anything with it. Managed a tow from the brother in law but there's a fine in the post as about 10 mins after I left home I put derv in, anpr must have spotted it and police have been crawling around its usual location ever since. It's now off the road and it wont be seeing it for a long time now.
12-12-2012, 11:38 PM
That sucks dude. Turbo go bang again?

not cool
12-12-2012, 11:41 PM
Turbo looks to be ok but there's oil down the back of the block and in the exhaust. Inlet pipes are clean so not a compressor failure. Could just be oil return has blown, could be hotside of turbo, could be a rod. No idea and tbh don't care either.

Fair man, understand the feeling of no enthusiasm. Hope its a minor fix when you get the love back.

Yeah, about that, it's not likely. I'm not even pissed it's broken any more, got to the stage I cba with the paranoia that something will go wrong as two of the last three times i've driven it something expensive has broken.
13-12-2012, 12:21 AM
Shit man, this sucks . Not having much luck
13-12-2012, 09:44 AM
ffs!!!
13-12-2012, 09:53 AM
Dude that really sucks, almost tempted to offer to buy it as the sedan is stupidly impractical.

Noone's buying it until I decide what to do. Wheels alone are worth a good £500 in JDM circles as you can't get that fitment over here and they're practically new, including tyres they owe me about £750.
Plus add in suspension parts separately, D2 coilovers are a couple of hundred ££, a refurbished disc beam with 23.5mm tb's and GTi ARB is another good couple of hundred ££. GT2056S on manifold, FMIC setup, Bosch setup, 302mm brakes with 500mile old discs and pads, smoothed vented bonnet, Valeo masks, wind deflectors... If it goes, it's not going complete.

Dibbs on the 302mm brakes mate.
