Doesn't sound too bad! Thst tps one is annoying as its a wiring problem. Other ones are easy fixes.

Cutting out has seemingly gone from replacing the FPR.

Bought a brand new Tps and still comes up with fault, it's only showing closed throttle position fault though?!

Smoking REAL bad on boost, at the stage of giving up on this engine now, it runs....

I've a feeling the boost leak is right round the back of the engine. I've replaced the inlet elbow gasket and blanked the egr

On the plus side I've 21mm bars and the AC works ;P

Jobs to be carried out soo, sorry out the speaker situation (I've bought 2 sets that don't fit exec with the adapters for the front)

sort out the suspension, might go for group n front and rears. Work's really well on my 205

Fit solid rear beam mounts

Sort out front wishbones (partner p bushes)

Carry out xud conversion

That's no where near as bad as my estate was.

Have a read of this, it might help sort your TPS issue http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/i...m?t=100155

I haven't a bloody clue.
I'm unsure if it will be that part of the loom that will be broken or not

I do wonder what's happened to that car in the past, as didn't you say that all the injector wiring had been cut off and joined back together at some point in the past as well?

Either an extreme practical joke or an engine swap I'd say then!

They do get wiring faults occasionally, think all the ones I've stripped have had a bit of shrink wrap somewhere lol. But that seems more than just one small issue...

If you need I have most or all of a 2.2 HDi loom here and it's largely the same. If you want bits you'll need to let me know soon as otherwise it's getting stripped for scrap.

I would get an entire new engine loom tbh... They're easy enough to come by these days - that lot looks like a recipe for failing whilst driving!

Will do, just about to go out and cut it off. Also got a TPS here too if you need it.

PM me and I'll give you my address or payment details for postage.

Yeah. I would of been able to provide one too if I hadn't pulled out the 2.2 loom and put it to one side for you and then just gone through stripping all the other looms I had sitting there and got half way through a loom before realising it was a 306 HDi one.

All being well for soo long something had to go wrong...

I've been debating whether to put the dt engine in the 306 or my 205 gti this morning.

Considering it had been behaving itself for a while I thought I'd keep the hdi engine in and put the dt in the 205.

I think the fpr is playing up again, wouldn't start this morning!

Other news

I have a set of xsara vts shocks and springs to go on.
Also have to do the rear brakes urgently as one pad has gone down to metal. Hand brake cables also need doing.

I have some wishbones to chuck on while I sort out the partner p bushes

Solid rear beam mounts are on and the car feels completely different already.
P bushes are shot to pieces but the funny thing is it handles better than my 205 gti by a mile.

I can go round a long sweeping corner into Basingstoke I do every day 10-15 mph quicker than I can in the gti
