I have a grinding noise coming from the front drivers side wheel area. It is audible when turning left AND accelerating, not just one or the other.
Really confusing me, my first thoughts were driveshaft or wheel bearing but they both spin when turning, so surely would make the noise even when not accelerating. Or would being under load affect them?

Wheel bearing I'd say, you'll not always get them by jacking the car up and spinning by hand, sometimes you have to put it in gear and spin it to get it to growl.
