That was not a DLSR though, they were taken on a cheapo £10 for 3 lenses that stick on your mobile phone.... f*cking epic results though, well worth the money. Yeh ones the carpet at the bottom of the stairs in our student house... it looks better than it is in that photo! the others the bottom of the toaster... and the dead hairs are my mates beard trimmings on the side of the sink... been there for weeks...

I have this amusing image of you running round the house just looking for random things to photograph I feel that most phones now have a half decent camera attached, I know my Desire HD can take decent photo's and that is old hat now.............

Some of your panning shots from mallory are really good Chris, just needs cropping down a fair bit so you can see the car better in my opinion
20-05-2012, 08:07 PM
IMO it's very hard to take a shot like that, it's so easy to misjudge the speed of the car. Well done mate!

Wrote:Some of your panning shots from mallory are really good Chris, just needs cropping down a fair bit so you can see the car better in my opinion Cheers lads, Im really happy with some of them. I dont like cropping them as IMO the blurred background makes them look faster and you loose alot of that effect if you crop too close. I await being proved wrong though. Also I like posting work that is pure photography with nothing touched by computer if you know what i mean, even if its only in my head it feels so much more pure and natural. I really think it actually makes the car stand out more leaving it as it is, especially the brightly coloured cars that dont blend with the background.

Four more for the love then

No trickery here - straight from the camera just with some colour curves on it
22-05-2012, 09:14 PM
What kinda camera's are you guys using to achieve pictures of this quality and nature? Bridge or SLR?
Love how the 'flow' of the water is captured - how do you do this?? I've got a Fuji bridge, but I've not really played about with it much...or read the instructions for it
22-05-2012, 09:34 PM
Ive got a Fuji Finepix S4000 Bridge
I never read the instructions, Ive only learned by playing with it. TBH i get a fair bit of practice taking photos of cars, I took over 300 pics at PPCITP and than almost 100 at ace cafe last night

Tbh, I take too many photos and can never be arsed to mess with them. Whack 'em on and leave 'em be :p

Wedding is a very special and most memorable moment in an individualâ??s life. Itâ??s important that those moments are captured by, the professional wedding photographers. Those photos in the post are really good, nice work.
