SRowells Black Rallye
I cut my PAS long loop pipe off and now run without it, as it was very badly corroded to which i poked a hole in it

What injectors are you going to use?
Just out of interest what wideband and gauges are you installing?

thanks. Its a PLX multi gauge which is touch screen so you can go between whatever sensors you install. It connects to a box and you can piggy back multiple boxes together and then scroll through them on the gauge. You can display the value, graph, or min/current/max. Its quite clever. Think it was about £120 including the wideband sensor.

Just using standard gti6 injectors.

That looks pretty nifty and not a bad price either. Could you have used the original lambda sensor?

Nice update too - bugger that you can't fire it up! Sad

Been advised to use IWP162's for bodies, will find out in two weeks time..

You probably could but the fact it comes with a nice new one in a plug and play kit makes it super easy to do.

battery cooling duct? never knew there was such a ting! Blush

Yep! Its just a plastic tube from the bumper up to the battery box, no idea if it makes any difference to battery life though.

Ordered lots more bits tonight to finish this off. Fuel line, fuel line clips, brake vaccuum line, catch can breather, harness ring bolts, subframe bolts, coil pack bolts, a spare inlet gasket and a better accelerator cable end. Hopefully will all be here by the weekend for more action!

I wouldn't, they're massive!

standard injectors are enough for most, im going twin on my new engine, they were there with the old one but had a misfire with one set so they were turned off
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

Nope, only fitted the GTi/Rallye. HDi's won't get hot enough!! Smile There's also no battery box on a HDi, just a metal tray, so there would be nowhere to direct the airflow anyway.

um I looked at my battery box at the airflow hole in the side of the battery box, it isn't actually cut through!
never mind though i removed all that ducting to get my oil cooler pipes round Wink

Is a 13 row cooler going to be big enough to keep it cool on track as I see alot of people use 16 rows?

Update. It lives! It runs! It drives! Done about 40 miles on it today and it appears to be faultless! I'll do a proper update with photos when I'm on PC.

You realise this has a gti6 jenvey 45 map? It will be checked over at some point but no issues so far.

100% this. But knowing Sam he won't listen because it feels fine and then will moan when it's all melted into one lump of steel lol

Lol. Why would it be so much worse than an identical engine? I can see the point of tweaking it but doubt it's likely to be so far out to melt stuff? I think he's got the lambda gauge in also.

its not a self learning ecu, no knock sensor etc.

small differences in throttle stop position throttle sensor, air bleed screws, trumpet lengths exhaust flow can all make one map very different to another for an "identical" engine.
