The Racetractor. The End.
Quite a neat little bolt on actually that is, looks to be a good little upgrade for the XUD, if I hadn't gone DI id be tempted myself as XUD is a never ending heat pump!

Don't think id have plumbed it quite like you have, but either way nice upgrade.

This is what drew me to 306's in the first place. There's no end to what can be done to them. And what some people do to these old IDI engine is epic.

Good job! I've been thinking putting a smaller rad on the race car for better airflow to the ITBs but haven't decided yet

Videos are good as ever mate, you did make me laugh with the 3 important things of working indoors, 1) the missus is out, 2) slippers, 3) arms reach of the kettle Smile

Two things you did wrong, no water and you forgot heat. You cant use soapy water on modern day vinyls like that, they go on dry and thats it. And its a cast vinyl so you use a heat gun to stretch it and then you heat it to the temp specified by the manufacturer to release the vinyl memory and it wont peel off. A bit of 3m vinyl primer on the edges will ensure it never comes off Smile
Thanks given by:
As mentioned, you only need heat, plenty of it. Don't need any form of water/soap solution.

These vinyls you can literally screw up, heat up and bring it back to perfectly fine again.

Why didn't you remove the mirror caps to wrap them? I've wrapped countless body panels and mirror caps, never once had the sun shrink it down.

I did use heat?!

No one see the heatgun!?

I did remove them. Hence why one is good and the other isnt. The one that wasnt just didnt have enough to wrap it right round!

Yeah the primer for edges maybe a good idea next time.

I did use heat though, but late on. A few guides online were like "NO HEAT" and others were like "USE HEAT"... I did use it, just late on!  (the heat gun was there, part 1 shows bits I used)

and the soapy water is from the last time I did vinyl/stickers on rally cars about 7 years ago!

haha, glad I made you giggle... the most honest things are often the funniest!

Did you set the vinyl though with the heat gun once all fitted? Sadly the use of water may make it all peel off or have little bubbles appear over the next few months :/
Thanks given by:
I've used water without any issues, only ever used heat if it needed stretching a little bit though I left that to the boss.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.
