Had the car for 3 years now...done 50k without breakdown, except for my wife using it as a boat once.
Love the 306. Learnt how to be a grease monkey on them.
It was like this for 2 1/2 of those years...

the things not seen inc new handbrake cables, tidy and honest stereo install, cambelt change, services every 6k, undersealing, common things like ball joints and front arms every 3500miles! currently trying to resolve a rear wiper with a attitude. but apart from that the car is fault free.

Mine is hopefully gonna be a tow car for getting another kit car.
Our christmas meet is in reading on saturday. Ill also be at the weston meet on sunday

nope. passed not long ago. with the hole....
be repaired and covered soon by gti skirts too!!!
but that brings out a good point...you could, for a stupid reason, cut most of your sill away...then cover it with a side skirt and it pass...despite it being dangerous!!

nope, I bought the xsi wheels 6months after buying the car.
No dent either...sorry
Bought it off a old gent, he had owned it for years, spent silly money at garages for repairs inc headgasket at 80k.

note the lucas pump in the background...out of curiosity, not thought about it before, the lucas ecu controlled pump turns easily, but the 11mm hybrid is difficult to turn....that normal?
started to strip engine down as I am starting to sell the parts I dont need...so I am at this point...

doing well...sold the injection pump, injectors and PAS pump, interest in the alternator too...just about to put up listing for loom and starter motor. made back 80quid so far allowing for fees...so not too bad, whole lump cost me 180!

1.9 Mate, used the whole thermostat housing and fuel filter assembly off the 1.9, the hole on the block is the same and the pipes are at better angles.
oh and im running 2 thermostats, the 1.9 one at the front and the 2.1 one at the back
