My hdi engine has a bit of a funny problem
It seems to bog down at full throttle on acceleration, if I lift off slightly it jumps to life and accelerates.
Get to 3k and it "misfires" (more of a judder) and above 3k it is rather flat and doesn't like to accelerate.
It's been remapped recently and the problem has become more apparent now.
No smoke in acceleration
I've changed between about 4 Tps and it's still the same.
I've changed and unplugged the maf and it's still the same
LP in the tank?
HP?
Injectors?
Fuel filter has been changed
Air filter is new
Egr stuck open? I need to blank it off

Did you have issues with the TPS wiring?

What mileage is the car on?
I would stick PP2k on it and check the demand versus actual fuel pressure as it could be the HP pump isn't supplying enough fuel but they normally shut down when that happens.

Could you do a video and post that?
They normally shut down when there is a fuel issue.

If you can't plug it in at present, give the fpr a clean and see if that helps. They can cause all sorts of issues

Another think it does. In neutral and I hold the revs steady at 3k it fluctuates about 500 rpm +/-

Did you check to see if there was any corrosion in the TPS plug and it the ELM light on?

I don't think you'd hear /see it on the video tbh
Plug looks good.
No eml on. The wiring looks fine.
I believe it isn't the Tps side of things that is at fault
Might swap the lp pump tomorrow to rule that out

Yeah doesn't really want to accelerate at all when cold.
I've got a Bluetooth obd thing and it shows it running at 80'c odd. The clocks read lower weirdly

How does the fuel filter look? Failing that i'd have a look at the lift pump housing and filter. Sounds like a physical restriction somewhere that the management is struggling to deal with.

I can't open up the link in your sig mate, it's the link broken from the forum upgrade?
Was going to change the lift pump see how I get on.
Fuel filter is brand new
Nice one on the link

Sorry, fixed. I must finish writing that lol.
Fair enough, hope that fixes it.
