I was lucky enough to get a telling off early in life. 60mph through my town center after a month of driving, scared the life out of me but got let off.
He said hed been following me a while, but I dont know how long. Cos few miles before I was doing excessive speeds.
Been more sensible since.

Then once thebpokice had gone I moved off and there was a strange grinding noise. Got out and the pads on both sides of the car are down to the metal. Not sure how that happened at that exact moment but they obviously need to be replaced asap

This. I'm all for a hoon, but doing those speeds on a motorway doesn't particularly entertain me anyway, and their just stoooooopidly dangerous.

THIS! I had a £700 fine for the exhaust on my scooby... but i was on full boost in the middle of town at around midnight We all do stupid shit, the difference is wether we learn from it or not.

No typo, i got butt f*cked by the long dick of the law

The stupid copper even put my car down as 'black in colour' on the ticket when it was quite blatantly white and always had been but according too the magistrates this was a 'minor inconsistency' and they quoted some law of some bollocks that states that any NON standard exhaust system is illegal

They enforce this law all the time in herefordshire, its notorious for it! £50 fine everytime

Damn. I didn't know non-standard exhausts were illegal as long as they meet requirements.

Hmm, I should probably sort my exhaust blow then...its currently louder than my neighbours RS as I just cant seem to seat the clamp right lol.

Then again, I drove 5 miles without an exhaust the other day (swapped them at Nans and lost the clamp nuts )....never turned so many heads in a hdi haha.

I was going much, much quicker on the A10 when I had my Celica and an unmarked car came up behind me, lights blazing. I thought I would lose my license that day. Fortunately he had somewhere to be and the passenger officer just wagged his finger at me as they went past (I'd obviously slowed right down).

Road was empty and car was capable of maintaining those speeds, I think the police are often fair in their judgement (thank f*ck!).

I think the only people they give a hard time to are the sort of people that hate them because they are out doing their job. End of the day, you break the law and get caught, you own up. You can't have a go at the police because you were in the wrong and were too stupid to get caught.
