I was pleasantly surprised at work today when I received a text saying that my Magnex decat was going to be delivered to my parents in the next 2 hours! Whether anyone was there to sign for it is another question amazingly for once Demon Tweeks have delivered something in under 2 months!
Things left to get now are...
GTI6 head bolts as the 1.8 ones apparently arent right for the gti6 head.
Phase 3 petrol XU Loom,
Lightened Fly Wheel,
Head skimmed
and then once its all together going to get remapped!

( Dimensions 110 x M12 x 1.5 )Engine type XU10J4R-RFV
( Dimensions 159 x M11 x 1.5 )Engine type XU7JP4
The original bolts for the 1.8 are M11 where as the GTI6 ones are M12. Therefore I do indeed have the wrong bolts. I have now bought the right bolts!

Ordered a loom off Matt which I can cut up for bits when wiring in the omex.
Currently talking to the people over at Harper-Betts Automotive and thinking we can do the engine work on the 5th and 6th of April. Planning to do the clutch and gearbox with Tom on the 30th of March.
Just need to order some 6mm and 8mm fuel line now.

Fuel line ordered.
2m of 6mm ID / 12mm OD with 11-13mm Fuel Clips.
2m of 8mm ID / 15mm OD with 14-16mm Fuel Clips.
As far as I know now that's all the things I need ordered. Just need a clutch from Niall now and yo get the head skimmed! Then just need to put it all together and book the mapping!

If anything that's too much! It only has to go from the 90 degree union at the suspension turret to the fuel rail...
