After all this rugby malarkey, figured the roads in wales would be fairly quiet today so embarked on a grand tour of wales with my sister and brother tagging along in the mini. epic roads were driven today Smile

a full day of driving and all i thought about was how badly the turbo needs more revs, so got home and did a cheeky gov mod on one of the spare ones i have in the garage, will be installing later this week Smile

Dicky: it was up in the hills on and around epynt

Ed: the bonnet does my head in, when it gets painted Il be re-enforcing it to stop it flexing, the pins are tight its just the bonnets so thin that it bends in the middle. only weighs 2 kilos though Smile

As much as the rattling annoys me the massive weight saving more than makes up for it haha.

original bonnet had an argument with the windscreen, saw that as an excuse to start the weight saving, hung around on the '6 forum for weeks hunting down a phase 1 fiberglass or cf bonnet, then luckily someone in swindon was breaking his phase 1 track car Smile

lucky as hell, i have yet to see another phase 1 ultralight bonnet come up for sale

At least it was proper failure, lost heat, temp straight into the red, oil in water, pressure in coolant, and a head hot enough to fry eggs on. The works lol
