So thought I had "French electrics" syndrome yesterday:
After investigation I found that it was more my fuel sender had become the victim of my bumpy suspension...
So I soldered the wire back on:
And glued it back together, with a self tapper for good measure:
Success:
Should have a couple of things arriving tomorrow...

Haha, as a French car owner (enthusiast?!) I think you need to know your way around a soldering iron.
And twisting wires together and covering them in insulating / electrical tape is not the same as fecking soldeirng! (to whoever did that to my poor car previously)
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

Shhh you, you weren't supposed to notice that
I may re-do them in black yet, as I'm doing the b-pillars black... I don't want it to be too much red

That is the eventual plan yes... I've got the gold fleck at the moment, so I want to source an alcantara rear for the time being, at least it will be "sort of" in-keeping...
Then I'll probably look at having the centre of the current one re-trimmed

Find me a scrap half leather seat cover and I'll have a try at doing it if you want, you'll just need some hog ring pliers to put it back together again.
