Couple more updates:
New lever New caps: New stickers: Also have more gear stick related shininess turning up to make less of a bodge of my reverse lever. Must. Stop. Spending. Money.

think you've got that last bit wrong.
Must. Stop. Trying. To. Sell. I feel is more appropriate

I saw you driving the '6 heading towards chi from hunston on the roundabout, cars looking sweet. I was in my GF's C1 so you probably hadn't seen me.

Ah cool, nah I didn't notice tbh! Cheers Max
Had the back raised by 20mm by Kris on Saturday, and apparently my rear shocks are seized. So now on the look out for some uprated ones, or possibly just standard. As I'm somewhat skint at the moment. Another couple of small updates later on too

Those wheels suit this perfectly! Awesome awesome car bud
Doesnt even own a 306.

We need a chi meet at some point.
I do have some gas rear shocks, came with the coilover kit, identical to the 306 ones, give me what you can afford within reason.

Ah that'd be awesome, will pm you in a sec to discuss this further as I think they're rather shot. It looked higher in Kris' workshop, so I'm thinking the shocks are actually holding it down, as they're pretty stiff. New floor mats: Got sick of trying to source a good used gear knob that doesn't cost the earth, so new gear knob: A better one of my wheel:

I've been trying to find a decent gearknob for ages, that one looks really nice man

Cheers Ed, I liked it and I get to keep my 6 speed pattern /tart
Jamie, is that "whole" tyre? Or was that demonstrating how much was previously on show? Haha. Yeah it is better, the extreme lows on the back were never intentional in fairness. Just been speaking to Max (stricly_derv) and I'm having some shocks off him so that's cool.

the new ride height looks spot on mate, and and the new knob is actually sweet! most look like kack imo, nice find!

Cheers dude . Yeah that's exactly how I feel about almost all aftermarket 'knobs. But these don't look cheap to me, which I like. Works better with mounting my lever too which I still need to sort properly as it's annoying me. But I have a plan
Oh, and I STILL need to put my glove box back in, which the decorator has now partially painted white.

i love it when a plan comes together
also, liking the brake dust on the white wheels, reminds me of the patches of dust i used to get thru the holes on the steelies on irene, always thought it looked cool haha Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club

Haha
Yeah they're always like that, it wasn't a good idea for me to get white wheels... I never clean cars. Shame about Irene, I liked that car Also, just noticed the "Katie" written in the dust on my airbag. Bloody woman
18-09-2012, 12:07 AM
white wheels are win, even white wheels covered in brake dust!
true that man, shame indeed, cheers for liking her tho, i sure as hell did haha so, your airbag's in the kitchen? Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club

Haha very true it's how they live!
I think most people did, it was different in a good way. Sure you'll do something else interesting! Haha, oh dear, won't be opening this around her
18-09-2012, 12:47 AM
Hells yeah!
That's cool to hear man, I only ever aimed to be different lol, hopefully my new plans will manifest into awesome Haha, maybe not the best idea! Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club

I'm sure they will dude!
Was going to play around with some light painting last night, but then I couldn't be bothered. May do tonight, but the car really needs a wash first

BMW Sparkling Graphite surround, also known as Astor- the best colour in the world ever.... I'm not sure yet...
It's a great colour and looks awesome in the sun, but I think it's too dark. It's also a bit too close to Astor gayness for my liking... |
