Curt's Phase Win® Diablo GTi-6

Changed the gearbox, clutch and bushes at the weekend. Bit of a pain in the arse but got there in the end. Drives much nicer, but the clutch is still heavy?! It was light at first, but after 10 miles it's heavy again. Any ideas? I've changed the 'box, genuine clutch kit, new cable, gearbox bushes and greased the ends of the clutch fork shaft. Not impressed! Gear change feels much better though.
Also, got a price for new lower arms from Peugeot... Anyone care to guess how much? Oh and got something exciting arriving tomorrow

mine was exactly the same. Kris fitted a genuine valeo to mine. was really light on the way home and after a few short drives it was heavy again....no where near as heavy as the old one and actually pretty perfect i think. might just be a characteristic of the gti clutch? also, you would be supprised at how much of a difference a new genuine cable makes. i fitted one to my 1.8 a few months after the new clutch and it made a world of difference! gti ones are only £45 from peugeot.
oh oh what shiny things you getting? also, if you need new wishbones, get Mele HD ones. there £125 a set and have never seen anyone have a bad word to say about them!

Yeah I've heard that they're just generally heavy, but I thought it would be a bit more ankle friendly than it is! I may try a genuine cable then, the one on it is only a month or so old but it's factored. Cheers for the help with fluid too, seems perfectly happy with the 2L I dropped in.
I'll post it when it's arrived nothing too special really! But I like it. I just picked up some from CPA actually, £33 a side. But I'll keep that in mind, especially if these don't last long... Forgot to say I picked up some oil and a filter too as that's overdue.

the cheaper arms dont seem to last too long. mine feel worn and there 18 months old and done about 10k. not much really. Although i suppose we all moan but then again, most of us do drive pretty hard!

Yeah so I've heard... But mine are making some horrendous noises and I had a ball joint snap on my old DT which wasn't pleasant. So these have to be better than the shot ones currently!

I've been meaning to have a go at this for a while now, so after work I popped to the local bike shop and bought a brake lever. Cost me a whole £7 and took about an hour of fiddling.
I like it, it's more natural for going into reverse and it works perfectly. Nothing int the car is modified either so I can change straight back.

That's quality. Love it.

That's awesome!! Love it!

Won't lie, the Cherry Rallye was my inspiration... and it does look better on a stripped car. I'm looking at getting a black one with a red handle though which I think would look pretty sweet...
Forgot to put pics of my other new addition too, will do later. Cheers for the comments guys

As I said before, looks win! Your doing mine at the weekend!! Also you need to get pictures of the :nInja: up
TEAM CONROD SHITTING RALLYE!
Yeah I kinda think it looks better with no gaitor, but as my car is no way stripped I think it just looks incomplete without it.
