tbh, torqueing the headbolts down with a breaker bar probably didn't help..

nippy to dannys tomorrow, to torque them all down properly, it only started doing it after a harsh pull off from a junction lol.
17-03-2014, 09:50 PM
have you tried re-torqueing them?
might give you a bit more life
17-03-2014, 09:50 PM
If they weren't torqued down at all that's pretty crazy. The final stage has to be done with a breaker bar but not the first 2.
17-03-2014, 09:57 PM
Yeah that'll do! I have a torque wrench here i never use, shame it would be a pain to lend it to you!

went out to check the water, and there was none even in it, went to top it up and the water just fell out the bottom of the rad, so looks like I just need a new rad.
18-03-2014, 12:26 PM
Phew!!!!
But doesnt explain the pressurising?! Wishes for more power...
18-03-2014, 03:59 PM
Nevermind still doing it opened top bleed screw near matrix and water blasts out of there
18-03-2014, 04:12 PM
Rad has probably popped because its pressurising mate...I had similar on my red one, blew bottom hose off.
