Getting there now mate. As for your clutch slipping i would say drive sensible for a bit as there may be surface rust on the flywheel as its been stood for a bit and give it a bit of time to bed in as such

So you have a brand new Valeo kit in there dude? Pressure plate and friction?
I have the same issue as you, with the same turbo, so if you have problems with a new one it is not worth me buying another new standard clutch.
Been turning fuel down to stop it but it's hideous knowing it goes so much quicker when it's turned up.
Looks like paddle clutch time.

Hopefully won't need a paddle, probably will one way or another with future plans taken into account..

Fitted battery to boot using original terminal connectors so it can be easily reversed:





Refitted black bonnet and cleaned it:



Relocated the air filter:



Filled it with some veg/diesel/2stroke and ran it:



Ordered up some cable tidies and boost gauge adapter!

Still have some bits and bobs to do, changed gauges over to ignition instead of live, did some little bits.
