mine was doing same after we fitted the motor, pump just needed advancing.

It wouldn't start intially so we advanced it and it would start (like it does now) and clear up after being run. But yeah, as suggested by everyone will try tweak it tomorrow after work!

Ide still say that's an injector issue, your timing sounds ok.

Hmm. I do have a spare XUD motor with a bosch on I could whip the injectors off of but it did it before on Lucas injectors (which have since been changed for bosch's).
