SRowells Black Rallye
Got back from work at 5pm today so set about starting the pre fcs tidy. Started by fitting the fusebox that finally arrived. Running the ECU, fuel pump and fans all off seperate fuses and its a lot tidier than before. No pictures of the end result but this is the box itself and the fat power cable i made from an amp cable i had lying around

Removed the battery box and found the bottom of it was broken so replaced that. Also replaced the gearbox mount as i had a baker bm item. Found there was a difference in the mounting posts so put the fatter one in.

Finally got the synchrometer out and balanced the bodies. First two were on 7.5 and second pair were on 6.5 Balanced them out a bit so they are all 7.5 now. Went to connect the laptop to check out a few things but dad had upgraded it to windows 10 which of course meant it had lost all the drivers... a job for tomorrow now!

its just an ebay jobbie. About 7 quid. I checked out other places and demon tweaks and other motor racing places stock exactly the same item. I specifically wanted one where it only had one live input and not individual ones. Keeps it tidier and safer!

Yeah I know. That's not so great, but on the plus side it should clean up easy with the wax we put on! Confused

Sam reckons its a low pressure pipe around the rack, not even one that we touched for the PAS relocation. Confused

Covered the rear end with fluid with the airflow at speed though!

Its the limiter. Not sure why I was hitting it in every gear. Its lower than the 1.8 one. At the time I feel it could have been a bit higher.

Lots of Them will but almost all use equity red star as underwriter.

What's not true? Did you renew my insurance? Did you make my phone calls? Did I describe every insurer under the sun, or caveat it in some way?

With my rallye I went to Sky, Brentacre, Flux etc etc. Every single one of the 'performance insurers' would cover it, but all of them used Equity red star in my case. Finding someone to cover it isn't a problem, finding a sensible price for it is.
