I bought a complete bumper off dangti6 so I can just swap them over if I wise though I love the 'lairy' intercooler. Want to find another Laguna splitter to put on the bumper with the grill though to save having to swap that.

Not a massive amount happening to this. But i have managed a few bits. I went up to see matt rallye last Saturday to pick up a set of nimrods in decent condition. It was my first chance to go for a nice long drive in the car and on the motorway it really is lovely to drive and not even that loud when cruising given the fact about the 3" exhaust. Any way got the wheels and standard issue i got them fitted when i got back down to work
As much as i liked it on the black clones i much prefer it on the nimrods though it does give a bit harder ride.
Other than that not much has changed to the car. Im currently stripping down and rebuilding a beam to get fitted. Not that there is anything wrong with the 1 on it but got the beam cheap and can give it a bit of paint plus i can use the 21mm bars from it for the dt. I did pick up some solid rear mounts from sam that will prob get fitted to the beam when i fit it
Nothing else really new to report. I just need to save up for a bit of money and make some phone call so i can get an uprated clutch and then look about more power

TBH there still pretty crap, can not see a thing out the back when reversing but the lights are tinted so i don't think that helps
I got more more expensive 1s but these are similar

What spacers have you got on the oregons? My fronts are direct fit but sit in by about 30mm and the rears I had to put 10mm spacers on to clear the arch liners.

ah okay gdgd. It was my understanding that oregons from a 406 were direct fit and nimrods from a 206 needed spacers. Looks like I was wrong and both need spacers :/

The 1s I got come off a 206. I'm just using the spacers that come on it that were on when the clones were on

Few little bits and bobs have happened to this. As some of you saw im having clutch issues at the moment as with the CG clutch i bought the engine wouldn't turn over due to the pressure plate jamming on the diff housing in the gearbox. I've sent to back to CG and there meant to be having a look at it. Anyway i had the engine out to do a few other bits on it over Christmas including the clutch but i had to put it back in with a standard hdi clutch.
I did get my hands on another clutch last weekend. A CG 5 paddle sprung with has only done about 500 miles i was told. Im pretty tempted to fit that instead of the unsprung 1 but i see what CG have to say
Got my hands on some door cards to match my seats so i got them fitted last night. I had to put grommet in the rear cards where the hole for the window winders usually is
Got these alpine speakers fitted in the front as well
Hopefully i will be changing the clutch next weekend so more updates to come

I have got another bumper with the grill in but need to sort a splitter for it to save swapping them over. I have a gti6 splitter but it needs a bit of repairing. Though i do look the 'lairy' look with the intercooler
It certainly dosen't sound like a sleeper though with the exhaust anyway lol

doesn't have to be, as chavs just think its an estate with a big bore on, Its the power that count, You will get some chav in a corsa, that will sit off the arse end of it. I have had that with mine, Got a nasty shock when I left him going up hill!

Been driving this a fair bit recently due to not wanting to drive the dt to much with the turbo how it was. Anyway the clutch still seems to slip a bit. Once it has seemed to slip once or twice it then seems to hold find so not sure why. Its a lot better once its warmed up.
Had sometime on the weekend to spend on the 306s.
Not much as changed to the car though really though on the weekend i took the front brakes off and gave them a good clean and lick of fresh paint to tidy them up. Also fitted some new discs due to getting some brake judder which was starting to get pretty bad.
I have been collecting nimrods pretty well as well. My plan is to have a set paint white hopefully when i get round to it and keep another set silver
2 sets plus another set on the car
