Nimrod/ouragan spacer's/bolt sizes?
#1
Got some 16" ouragans, 205/45/16's, main question is what size spacers do people usually run with these? i can get hold of some 15mm's off a mate but unsure if they'd be too big or not? And am i right in saying a standard cyclone bolt is 37mm?

depends which offset wheels you have, there's ET28 and ET20.

If they are the ouragans from a 406 then no spacers are required

You can get away with no spacers if your beam is in very good nick.

I'd use 15/20mm spacers on the back and 10mm on the front to get them sitting nicely.

Well they are ouragans, not sure what from though, definitely not a chance in them going on the back, may do of I cut some of the plastic linings out but still would be very very close, I had some a couple of years ago, they had 195's on though and fit fine, so if I use the 15mms and get some 55mm extended bolts?

look at the offset marking on the rear of the spokes, they are all stamped ouragan, some are ET28 (off a 206) and some ET20 (off a 406)

Just been and looked they are 28's, so I'll have to use the 15mm spacers, cyclone bolt is 37mm so I may as well get some 55mm bolts?

I ran mine with 15mm spacers, that was with 195/45/16s though.

Would 20mm spacers be to big for nimrods?

Think you'd just get away with 20's to be honest

No idea!! I have never seen a wheel with Nimrod cast into it, nor will you find one on servicebox.

All the bolt holes are the same anyway, they have the later tye bolt with a taper under the head so that the cars can use a standard taper seat steel spare wheel.

"look" bigger, they aren't, also the single wheel picture is of the 14" version so it will look different, especially with the plastic wheel bolt covers.
