Some rust spots in engine bay have returned annoyingly...
Just not sure what to do, obvious thing is rub back, hammerite, then colour paint top coat and laquer...
But what colour hammerite would you use?
Any other suggestions? Rust looks rank coming up on the moonstone

Sand it back and put some rust treatment on it (there's a better one than Kurust but I can't remember the name, Google should find it) and then oxide primer, then top coat.

POR15 is the best rust treatment I've ever used. You can buy it in a tube as well which is much thicker and easier to use.

do not use hammershite or underseal, you need a rust treatment an etch primer and some colour.

So get the Gel stuff yeah?
Is it a case of rub back to bare metal, put the gel on, then primer and paint?

With the gel you can knock the top off the rust paint the gel on and leave until it's worked, wash off clean everything up and paint
