Stage 2 HDi Meridian
#1
Well am promised a build thread here it is Smile

Bought this about a month ago after getting rid of my ibiza gti which was crippling me on fuel......not the cleanest of cars but knowing how well my last 306 performed with my driving style this a what a got.

Originally irish registered and on disabled tax first thing i had to do was re register it on british plates, correct tax and a full v5 in my name and now it looks like this.

Spec is:
197000 on clock no history lost in ireland apparently
Meridian spec half leather, auto wipers, auto climate control etc.
Stage two remap no proof of this but have drove a standard 90HDi and this pulls like a train in comparison.
EGR delete not just a blank and disconnect job.
FMIC setup intercooler sourced from a Ford Transit Connect not the tidiest of jobs but does the job no boost leaks etc.

Very discreet tho ads a sleeper look to the car with it being a 5 door with a towbar attached lol.

Plans:
Full turbo back stainless system(decat, straight through and backbox) with a 3.5 Outwardly rolled tip.
Boost gauge fitted+wastegate adjustment to get optimum performance out of map.
New clutch as standard one is starting to slip around peak torque in 4th and 5th
DTurbo Rear spoiler and a laguna or cupra r front splitter.
Full suspension rebuild inc droplinks, lower arms, top mounts, track rod ends, ta technix coilovers with torsion bar adjusted to suit on cyclones(color undecided)
towbar removed(doesn't look good lol)
and hopefully a full respray will smoothed and dewipered boot plus bonnet smoothed and plate recess on front bumper.

Yes cyclones to keep it oem or summit to add abit stance to it when a rebuild the suspension n like you say mileage is nothing to these engines that y a wasnt put off when a purchased it.

Plus ya cant beat the look on ya mates face when your on a fiesta st's back bumper in 5th gear on the a1 with a plume of black smoke behind ya Smile no smoke no poke in my opinion
