Well lads, stays a lot cooler now after everyone's help at ace,

However, went to go to work on the Wednesday and got there to find this just starting:

This is the joinery workshop I've worked at for nearly 8 years, I've helped build it, run it and turn it into a company that now has 6 employees, when I got thet it was just starting to get going and take a hold.

A lot of memories a lot of pieces I had made personally for myself and most importantly all my own tools etc all gone.

Any plans for the car at the moment I think will be on hold

Be careful guys, fire and flood are the two most devastating things

Even my old favourite RWD drifting van caught caught too

Thanks chaps, yeah assesors have been up and have an investigation underway.

It's more the things that were worthless in monetary values but personally meant a lot, my girlfriends late fathers chisels that her family gave me, first tools I ever bought, items I made myself etc.

Went up to see the place today and its soul destroying, I wouldn't wish that on anyone

Well, thought I'd crack on a little today, needed to get out the house, spent a whole morning tidying the garage, I was trying to be disciplined but in the end it got the better of me and I started doing the 306!

I've had a brand new oil cooler sat here for ages but I've been telling myself this wasn't going to be a 5 minute job, guess what..... It wasn't

After positioning it every which way it was clear the bumper was going to have to get "trimmed"!

Just by taking out one of the white rows was going to bring it flat enough and out the way of the fans

A bit of careful cutting and marking today!

Fits a treat, mounted in there solid as you like

Got the sandwich plate and lines to do when I can pick up an oil and filter this week to change that too

Put the new k&n element in though which is sweet, really quite responsive now, along with a set of new plugs!

i've got a 13-row and can see you'd have problems fitting your one as I had done on the diablo. I fitted it mounted sideways in between the fans using the bracketing in the kit. Unfortunately since taking it off the Diablo, Ive lost the sandwich plate adaptor bush so couldn't friggin fit it when I serviced the astor a few months ago Sad Still need to fit it, but I think I'll now not bother until summer as I almost never thrash it with the weather being so bad!! That looks a really good mounting position though, Think I may have to do this to improve cooling... Smile

Yeah it's alrite, a few rows are behind the bumper as opposed to the grill but I think it's still big enough and there's air circulating around anyway.
Bumper mounting isn't too bad it's nice and solid, I've got some quick release couplings too for when you want to remove the bumper, however the lines are still plenty long enough that the bumper could come off and you would just have to remove the two 13mm's to take the cooler off

Haven't decided yet though!
