Dont get it running before you buy it though lol, If your mate thinks he can do it offer him scrap do the paper work then get it running and drive it home

Oh I like the plan Wink well the guy is gonna put petrol in it and see if its gonna start for Friday. He will no doubt get a mechanic down to look at it, it will start, I'll get it home and then boom it won't work haha

probably no fuel then, but just a heads up the immobiliser can cause the same issue, cranks fine but doesnt fire

He did say immobiliser was temperamental. He popped the wee key thing in it, the light went out on the immobiliser but car wouldn't start. Can u bypass the immobiliser?

yes you can, its been done on my car (i didnt do it so i dont know how lol)

by wee key thing in it do you mean the small key behind the passenger side headlight?
they can f*ck up when theyre turned on and off for the first time in years as the connections underneath tend to corrode as theyre not very well protected
