Anyone have working heaters?

As the title says has anyone with a 1.9 turbo actually have working heaters, and i mean ones that blow hot not warm or just enough to defrost it in the winter?

Iv had 2 d tubs now and the heaters have been pants in both, tgk's were pants too but he was unsure wether that was down to his hg slowly going.

Mine had a leaking oil cooler/heat exchanger when i bought it so im assumin the matrix is clogged big time, anyone got any suggestions to unblock it before i choose my last resort of changing the beeping thing?

Have heard dish washer tablets are supposed to work but dont like the idea of that, i have ran 3-4 engine coolant flushes through it had truck wash in there to try break it up too and still nothing brilliant both pipes get hot though..... Suggestions?

I'm in the same boat as you bud and a bit worried that the minute I disturb any sediment in the matrix it's going to turn into a colander and pi$$ water all over the footwell

Atleast you have a heater.... weight saving kicked in and i took mine out :-( lol

ive had 3 dturbos now and the heaters were bloody awsome in all of them. ive now got a s16 and the heaters only get warmish lol

mine work fine in the d turbo and the s16. i have just done the heater matrix in the s16 though
