Got black masks coming then I'll fit the new bumper and I'll be happy (for now!)

Finally fitted the black masks today.

Really need to fit the half-decent bumper though. I've made a start by removing the splitter, giving it a coat of paint and fitting it to the bumper. Literally all I have left to do is fit the bumper and find the enthusiasm to do it lol

Also made an amazing board for mounting my sub, just need to wrap it in carpet now -

Finally installed the slightly-less-scabby front bumper and yellow fogs at the weekend, together with some new plates.

It already looks much dirtier than this having done 500 miles since Sunday Sad

That's why I drive a diesel though I guess.

Thanks dude, would love to lower it further like my old 1.8 but have the family now so myy priorities are their comfort! Also this still manages to scrape and it's only down ~ 40mm!

Cheers dude. Everytime I read back a couple of pages I keep wondering why I keep considering selling it, it's a great little car.

Massive thanks goes out to DeeTurbo who fitted my new Contitech Cambelt kit recently together with new water pump. I also finally got my ABS light to turn out by having to replace both rear sensors! £72 later we are light-free.

1 Year on and took a picture in almost the same spot whilst on holiday.

Did over 2000 trouble-free miles at an average of 51mpg which is really pretty good considering the roads in Cornwall have you mostly in 3rd or 4th gear uphill!

Really pleased with it, but my daughter is fast out-growing the car. My Mrs is about to sit her driving test and has a Kia Picanto, which is even smaller, so a bigger family car becons Sad
