Ive been doing my project for over a year now, but that's due to the British weather! Anyway ive done all my the work myself on it this time, ive even sprayed it in my garage! and i must say its a pretty good job, i also know what you all are thinking right now!
My pug started life as a standard 1995 306 dturbo in sigma blue, it was like this for about 6 months till i stuck sum 17" wheels on and lowered it, for about 1 year and i fitted the ph3 front end and debadged, then 2 years later i do alot of miles and had alot of stone chips so i took it to the bodyshop to get the front end resprayed, then 6 weeks later i got the phone call it was ready to be picked up,
and it looked like this:
I got carried away at the bodyshop, lol
Then the gti 6 seats and door cards, and got them recovered:
Then i put the front mount on and adjusted fuel and boost:
Then the tunes in:
Coil overs on:
It was like that for about 6yrs, but 2 of them sitting on my drive sorn and going rusty, so i got my arse into gear, and started to sort it out, and i didnt want to pay £1000+ for a bad paint job so i did it myself, here some pics of the body work:
ive also done the wheels matt black, pics to follow
ive still got lots to do,
final rubb down and polish
fit my hybrid fuel pump ive built
Replace turbo for bigger one
hdi box
replace front discs and pads
and sort exhaust out for mot
put seats door cards back on
Then after all that put it up forsale!
Have you not relocated them then? Looks pretty good mate, not sure on the bodykit myself, but each to their own! Good to see its got the right engine though!

Not yet mate, prob put them in the wing mirrors when i get a chance
well fitted LDA pin that dan ground for me, and i had very little smoke on boost, so after a bit of a tinker and alot more fuel, it was them flying, until it stopped on me, This being the 1st time it has ever stopped on me in 12 years! Bloody alternater not charging! so i ran battery dry. Any way after snapping loads of bolts i got the alt i had lying around in my garage on, to find still not charging! BUGGER! anyway found it was a bad earth on top of gearbox, Nevermind at least its fixed AGAIN!!!!
Well the 11mm had a problem, so it's got a modified 9mm that's maxed out on now, it's going pretty well now tho, I've built a 12mm pump now, I got it cheap so I will give it ago, and see what happens
Anyway found a cheap TD04l so I have that all clocked and waste gate welded up ready to go on, hopefully get the pump on at the same time,
Also got the timing belt and water pump done at the weekend,

well got around to removing the pump again today, and it looks like it was my fault too, must of over tightened the throttle arm and its eaten through the washer on the bottom and eat halfway through gov cradle, and all the little bits of metal gone into the pump and damaged the cam plate and blocked the filter in the 12mm head, i will add a pic later,
so ive cleaned it all up, rebuilt it back up with all the levers, gov cradle and the top housing of the pump also left the standard lda pin in as its alot more agressive from the 12mm pump, now it seems to run fine but i havent drove it yet as i may as well do the brake master cylinder while the engine mount is off tomorrow.

I know what you mean, tempted to smooth the ph3 I have in the garage, 12mm went really well until it went bang, when I get time I will build another one, turbos next after rear beams sorted
