It's like stirring coal trying to change gear the only decent one is 3rd to 4th. Hoping things will improve with quickshift and uprated gear links

So is the action a bit stiff, or is it notchy? Or does it graunch of you change fast? is your clutch pedal stiff and is the pick up high? if so my old Diablo was the same before the clutch was done. Was horrid to drive before then!

Why the change back to clear crystal fogs? And did you change the g'box oil for genuine stuff when you serviced it?

No pictures in this update sadly.
Yesterday I managed to get hold of roof lining, so I stuck some underlay on the roof and then fit the roof lining back in (what a fun job by yourself).
Also managed to fit my coilovers, decided to give the TA Technix a try.. been out for my first drive in them this morning and within 5 minutes decided they are coming back off.. went over a pothole and I'm fairly sure spinal surgery is required! So a little searching on the internet and I came across 'Weitec Hicon GT's', never heard of them but I did some research and nobody has a bad word to say about them - so I'm going to give them a try, hopefully will be here Monday morning.
Also ordered dished wheel as mine flakes all over you the minute any moisture gets near the wheel.. :/
Otherwise the car is holding out really well given it some proper abuse!

Are the gt's the adjustable rebound ones? also what spring rate did you specify? you may find they ride the same as ta technix if you end up with their 'standard' sprIngs... worth the check anyway...

Rather handily the car has decided it doesn't want to start when I finish work at 4am, top work. Turned the ignition on to power dashboard while I put seatbelt on and all was fine, then as I went to turn engine on the whole thing died then no lights would come on.. possibly loose engine>dash loom but all tools are at home so have to walk back to pick up my other car

It lives. Battery was fine, somewhere there's a bad wire in my loom as if you kicked the dash with the keys turned in ignition it would bring the circuit back to life. Simple solution was to drive back to mine, get my spare loom, plug it in and drive home.
All done in an hour and home for 5am, tidy.

Cheers buddy, the videos aren't even worth watching though it's a standard exhaust with a massive blow at the downpipe. Really not a good sound, I've got a new exhaust now so I'll try get some videos of that

No not from here. They are really really comfortable, but we are having massive problems with the base - so f*cked the Sparco base off and ordered up OMP hopefully can gain some height on them.

Also need to get my boss kit sorted to stick the steering wheel on!

Vaughn your car looks awesome with those seats, I need to get me a set of those sub frames cos they look like theyd be an awesome height for me and save me making another set. Seeing your tiny missus in that seat makes me realise I really need to look at getting buckets in a GT width.

I thought you liked the comfort of GTi6 seats and that buckets were uncomfortable and that you couldnt live with them???

Cheers mate! Yeah I really like them just need to get better frames ordered up, looking at the Cobra frames as they seem to give a lot of height and include sliders so seems a win on that front.
As for the seats they are the perfect size for me! Really happy with them actually.
