Nah, they always go there... Assuming that's just behind the front wheel...

Very common place for them to go, stones chip away at the underseal, removing it, then finally water in, voila rust...

Next place always is the upper rear arch, mud, crap and a few stonechips = hole.

Around that mark, yep.

They always do look caved in there, but lol someone's tried to jack on the random point that looks like a jacking point, but really isn't... I swear every 306 I've seen has that bashed in haha!

Yeah they need to make more jacking points on 306's...dented mine there and ripped the underseal off lol, luckily I don't keep cars long enough to worry about rust though.

Whats going on on here with rusty chassis at the moment. Ouch man, if you need any help gimme a shout, more than happy to lend a hand...
I've got some 3mm steel here you can have, about 200mmx150mm if thats big enough. Hard to tell from pics...

Exactly where mine went. Except worst haha. The actual floor will still be mint as Peugeot did protect the floor plan before welding the chassis legs on. Grind it out, double and triple check there is no rust on the bottom of the floor, give it a clean up and weld the new plates in. Job done!

Pretty much!

Well, no, there's a downhill track there for mountain biking, which is where you go to shred some gnar... Some will know what I'm on about.

Holy crap man. Looks like you've got it cut out and cleaned up nicely though. You putting a rust treater on it overnight before welding?
Also, are those plates I gave you big enough now? That box section you have cut has to effect the strength of the body, no?

1. repair the floor pan first with 1 piece of metal, wont be as weak as using bits here and there.
2. then make up a piece of chassis leg by bending the metal and folding it around a piece of wood or similar, so its in the shape of the chassis leg .
3. put new piece over the hole, plug weld it to new floor plate you put on.
4. stitch weld it to the original chassis leg where you have had the grinder down to shiny metal
5. spray aerosol of hammerite/waxoil or commas cavity wax and drown the b----stard till its dripping out all over you !!!
