Ok well day 1 was so mad with bits not fitting, not right parts in oil cooler was a right piss about.so we staeted with the oil cooler decided to go with a 16 row cooler as I have heard 13's aren't up to it.
So got the kit unpacked pipes where miles to long can't cut them because of the stupid ends so had to get the cable tires out
It was also a bloody good job I didn't have a gti6 twin fan setup or we would of been completely f*cked.we out out the second fan suround and mount it they.also replace the oil filter at the same time.
Sitting just to the side of the number plate
Engine looking very sorry for itself, no battery either
So we relocated the battery behind passengers seat
Rocker covers on and fc coil pack also sanded back cylinder head and autosoled it

So started today painting up bits in the engine bay.
I used a vht paint, stupidly I did have the job then relised I was useing matt black instead of gloss but thought I do it then see if it grounds on me .
At work we have a seam cleaner so may give that a shot aswell
Before I started .
So did throttle body, cylinder head pas pump engine mount.
Shame with matt goes nt really do it justice but its alot better, think I ll do the cylinder head front bit as the polishing ant going as planned
Then I started on my spare wheel holder as I removed the original one
Haven't bolted anything in place yet though its a £3 replacement metal tabel leg from homebase and with a foam insert to stop the movement its great also got a strap the tire it down for good measure.
Still to do is painting slam panel and clean all the crap of the abs unit or blank it off with a plastic cover

Cars looking amazing! Are you doing snetterton tomorrow evening? I'm coming along to watch Dan in the RX8. Wouldn't mind asking you a few things about your car if I get a chance, I'm hopefully getting a track rallye/gti in the next few weeks.
