Looks great, also looks good on track.

One thing though, there seems to be a LOT of body roll? Maybe thicker anti roll bars? Stiffer springs? Stiffer torsion bars? Are needed if you are going to be properly using this in track?

Yeah dooms day is monday, thats the make or break day well I have Tuesday aswell so if really fuk it ill be na for pugfest and fcs Sad

Yeah also got a proper k'n filter and gettig the slimline fans.

The guys leaving all the fluid circuit s for the cooler and charger so don't need to buy that, got a gti aux tensioner kicking around and lots of cable ties lol

Received 2 '10 slimline fans today look pretty good.

Also received pugfest tickets and camping Big Grin

Thinking got a million and 1 things to go before this time next week all good got 2 day off to potter around the garage hopefully give the front some more lows and sort the exhaust again hopefully last till fcs then im off the longlife to get a custom 3' decat back made.got a rolling road day on august 3rd so be very interested what my setup makes as linyx say thry are circa 250bhp but with my high boost intercooler and pipe work would be more.they also said it was thr quickest low boost they did.

Cheers bud got 2 10s thinking I need gti fan wiring as that got 2 in the circuit?

They quite cool as they can be use as either push or pull types.

Also heard back from supercharge man his removed everthing, money sitting in my bank gaging to go get it.soon be Friday then I can hopefully get back home in good time so can tinker, but do have Monday and Tuesday on it.
He's kindly kept the fluid circuit together so it literally bolt on don't need to worry about priming it of bleeding it.

Exciting times, shinies tomorrow Big Grin

Is that low boost or high? And that boost pipe going into the inlet looks odd wouldnt that restrict some air flow?

If you get it mapped properly, you can have the ECU to see the boost instead of the bodge way they do it with the Lynx kit. I bet there is a fair gain to be had with a aftermarket ECU and decent map!

Yeah I checked all boosted ones have the same pipe (low s have smaller diameter than high's)

guess they did so the front mount lines up central?

Yeah that sounds sick, I did hear lynx made a relized map I think the ecu im getting has it.i just checked my fit is indentical to lee's on 306gti6.com and it runs 264bhp so would be happy to get near that obviously my exhaust is different. .

Right bit of a update when to pick it up yesterday covered 500 miles got they in a respectable 4 hours.rob the guy I brought it off informed me he got it second hand from someone who never used it and was one of the first batch made by rich.they he told me all fiddle bits when fitting he also kindly keep the front mount together and the fluid circuit as new cost £111 which is needed in 2 months times.he also sending me the fitting kit guide kinda of tempted to do a dummies guide to kitting a supercharger as after speaking to rob theys alot more to do than I first thought

For shure monday and tuesday will be a true test of my lack of mechical skill lol:

Ill update will pictures later..

So first day on the supercharge...things we did today
Strip the car back, took out loom, fixed other loom extended the loop, changed over pas steering pumps and relocated it(pig of a job, snapped bolts) fitted manifold, fitted injectors, fuel rail, charger icv and throttl on charger, made a mount for fmc..

Tomorrow we have got to move about the 16 row and 13 row coolers and fit fmc then cut the bumper up to make it fit, run the belt through for charger, put some vpower in a test it Smile
Back to how it was 2 weeks ago lol:

so major update..... day 2

intercooler on! I now know this is high boost, its a absolute monster here some pictures.
note where the lights are and tow eye,she a big en.

hide the charger cooler behind aswell
[Image: 20130709_094044.jpg]

finshed!!!

nice and tight

Ohhhh I sprayed the intercooler satin black think it looks sick also made to seriously modify the bumper grill e.i completely remove it haha:

and and little cut out in the grill for more air flow

so all ready for pugfest? no 2 days before it the pas pump pissed out and stalling and idle was unbearable.with no tools I managed to beg a mate with a ramp and tools so handed with a second hand icv and pas sensor and a few litres.

so now 4 days on touch wood things are all good and extremely quick.

main issues are cooling as I only run a 10 slimline on the wrong side of the rad so will low boost pipes I'll have room and be abit less laggy.

So been having some over heating issues witch him starting to think is a hg issue Sad

Kinda loss a lot of love it recently hence no updates, but im determined to get it back and running full power, still hoping to get the hg done before Silverstone at the next of September also planning on a few more trackdays but quite limited as spunked all my holiday time on fitting the sc and problems

Always did fcs got some track time, although I had a overheating issue the car power so epic definitely need to get some new pads on the brembos and hopefully some r888 or r1r also want to get some better coilovers maybe with adjustable camber

Tested it quite abit absolutely destroyed at tuned s3 today, can't wait to get ot dyno'd see what its pushing.i think ive found a rebuilt head with fresh head gasket and head skimmed etc.so maybe they a light at the end of the tunnel if not they s a hell of alot of bits to break to recoup my money really really don't wanna do that though
