car feels skittish round corners? it never did befor an ideas guys ?

had track rod ends, suspension droplinks, driveshaft and wheel bearings done on the car, its fixxed my shakey gearstick, but its a lot more skittish round corners now tho any ideas guys ??

Yeh, but I think he tracked it shi*, it drives straight but my steering wheel isnt

That'll be the problem then, most likely any way.

I'd whip the wheel off and retorque the bottom ball joints for peace of mind (35nm) make sure he's put the right size in as well as they come in either 16mm or 18mm

Dont have a torque rench or I would, gonna get it re tracked and see how it goes

When ever suspension work has been done you really ought to have laser alignment done just in case, its worth the £15-20 alone to stop your tyres from getting killed.

Most half decent indie tyre fitting centres will do laser alignment and if somethings not right they will say.

Aircool is right, laser alignment is well worth the cash and like he said, most backstreet guys would have a look and tell you if there are any other problems. Avoid kwikshit as they charge a pretty penny, BUT, the do allow you to go back within 30 days for a free recheck/realign Wink
