All I'm hoping is isn't as boomy down low.

Gotta crack on with the turbo and get the 205 on the road

Turbo plate is being done later for the hdi.

Need to get the 205 on the road first though so I have a working car. But I need the engine crane back off Ryan! Wink

The wife is now driving this, better get the cyclones back on before they're kerbed to f*ck.

She put her foot down and it scared her, apart from maintenence etc I think the turbo is on hold until I get the 205 running

As you may of seen from the other thread the HG is definitely gone.

Managed to source a head (thanks piggy) and I've just ordered head bolts /HG etc and also treated it to a new rad and alt.

Trying to get the gt20 fitted with the head swap

And how the f*ck do you get the stem seals out?
different design to 6 engines I've worked on before

Valve stem remover or long pliers.
Those valves be fine, just use coarse then fine when lapping them in

Physically the head and valve seats are fine, just the valves which have pitting on 50% of them which I don't think will lap out

Going to get a full set of new valves, work's out to be £60 odd
