No over hang at all is acceptable really mate.
Are all the pulleys and water pump free from play?
Has the head been skimmed recently?

New water pump, new both pulleys/tensioners, new belt.

No aux belt connected ATM (an therefore no PAS, alternator).

Bran new as above.

Ear hasn't been removed/touched.

Car runs fine I'm just slightly concerned it's overhanging too much..

It's fairly easy to shove it over, get a socket on the crack, crank it round slowly and push it across as you go. Easy with 2 people. I'd get that back on ThumbsUp

Then, keep an eye on the belt, watch to see if it continues to edge it's way off. If it does, check all pulleys, tensioners etc

lol...

If it ran out there in the first place, pushing it back wont help it will just instantly run out there again lol.... The belt will always ride where its happy to ride, not where you put it.

Things to check

1 - Is bottom crank pulley fitted and nut tightened?

2 - Is belt tightened to a fairly normal tightness?

3 - Are you sure injector pump is bolted up flush and tight.

Failing all of these something must be broke, most likely a tensioner or pump nose bearing, but unlikely.

1) Yes it is Darren, I'll double check but it definately is!
2) Yes, not excessive or anything.
3) Yes, again it should be but I will double check.

Tensioners are all new.

My bets are on the bottom auxiliary pulley not being on correctly

If you straighten it all up, turn it over by hand, you can usually see where it is starting to run wide. If the above suggestions don't work, one other thing to check for is any grime build-up on the block face where the tensioner and idler bolt up. I had one belt I was scratching my head with for ages, giving the block a good clean with some WD40 and wet n dry fixed it. I did this after reading a similar story elsewhere.

as mentioned, make sure your crank pulley is on the woodruff properly.

also check you have the correct tensioner/idlers, some will sit on top of the covers IIRC and not be square.

Just a list of things to do tomorrow evening so I don't forget..

Are tensioners sitting flush with block?
Are tensioners bolts/nuts tight to block?
Is stud for upper tensioner spinning?
Is 13mm nut on stud for upper tensioner stripped?
Aux pulley bolted tight/correctly?
Anything stopping bottom aux pulley from sitting flush?*
Sitting on woodruff key correctly?

Sand down / clean block where tensioners connect if all the above fail.

Dirt behind a tensioner/idler pulley I'd say...
