Yeah, piggy seems to lack a sense of humour sometimes. Wink Love you really mate. Tongue

Personally, i'd rather just use a set of ph3 crystals than risk running potentially dangerous headlights. Wink

Dont like the ph3 inners and the idea was my ph3 all the fixings were snapped [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] worrying thing is i genuienly have a better beam pattern now then my ph3 so must of been setup mega shit. Cant say ive ever fiddled wuth headlights before now.

Will have to run them and buy another set of ph3 and see if the 2 masks will fit in

Fair enough, might pay you to swing past a friendly MOT centre or something, see if they can check the beam pattern properly for you though? Just to be on the safe side. Wink

Pretty happy, managed to solve my hub and wishbone problem last night thanks to a good mate. Bought a roller/sealed bearing converted pair of wishbones. Cant wait to see what these drive like. Dirty as hell so will give them a good de-coke and re-grease them up before putting them on. Least i'll never have bush issues again Tongue

Hehe...they do worry me though a bit for daily use...I will be curious to see how you get on Smile

Can get roller bearings cheaper than bushes so not to phased Tongue im a lil concerned to but mates s16 handled like it was on rails with these.
Dunno if its gonna drop my car lower to as there will be no resistance from bushes aiding shocks and springs....

Finally decided it was time to part with my beloved compomotives for somthing abit mad. Not knowing if i could get them under the arch i swapped them for for these steels (believe there modulars) rears are 8j et0 and fronts are 7j et15.
On test fit the fronts needed a 20mm spacer to clear the caliper and the rears a 5mm. The wheels came on non stretched tyres with a 55 profile meaning when the rear was dropped she sat on the arch.
Only solution i could see for the rears was to fit some mad stretch (165/50) in doingbso it has given me just enough clearance to fit the rears.... also making me look like a honda scene queen [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY][Image: 9d4faba154f3b62af4d17ade344e1382.jpg][Image: 7029efc79fe4ac3290f126e96b22f1ce.jpg][Image: 6ddf6624a7dcde67904cca920a725965.jpg][Image: 108aa5b81de09d4f521957be96c08336.jpg]
Im now waiting on a set of tyres to get the fronts fitted.

Just to let you know those lights won't go through an MOT unless the tester is a completely useless lady garden. I'm sure you think they're fine and all, but as Ruan says the two phases use two completely different systems to create beam pattern, two incompatible systems. This will be as bad if not worse than HIDs in non-projector lights.

Rest of the car is coming on well mind, might even be road-worthy soon. lol

Cheeky git [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] kept the crystals back anyway incase but tempted to make the step to morettes instead. starting to get a collection of unfriendly mot tester mods lmao.

Been meaning to ask someone. What would be the cause for "notchy" steering. Wheel no longer travels smoothly still or moving. Feels likes the steering wheel notches into each degree of lock. Dieing pump or maybe viscosity of oil way out? Only been a recent development

So after some major wheel rumble i went and bought some spigot rings. On taking the rear 5mm slip ons off i found i hade managed to crack them [Image: 1540f24697a02d836fe265c1d2a06e35.jpg]
With this i was forced to refit the 20mm on the rear to clear the caliper. [Image: f8dad45ef78c7436e698753154882953.jpg]
With them fitted again i had some serious poke on the go so have gone pretty mad rolling the arch to sort it out. [Image: fbd5b6e6803c5f79dbdcf04123489430.jpg][Image: cce271f73f9488b550d4f683c207ac2f.jpg]
With the arch rolled the tyre no longer catches the metal arch..... but is currently chewing into the rear bumper. The way i see it it'll fix itself [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

Well looks like todays ended in alot of swear words. Managed to lose aload of brake fluid and sucked aload of air into the system. Assuming its a bust line but taking no chances. Gonna take advantage of the situation and and do my abs delete now. Just ordered aload of bits so now got 50ft of copper on the way aswell as new sliders, t-piece and bias valve for abs delete, drilled and grooved front disks, norm bendix rear, all new pads, 23mm gti6 master cylinder, braided lines plus all tools to fit this shiz up...... and thats an unhappy bank balance again.

Interesting to see you've also snapped a Meyle HD P-bush - did you ever inform them?

I'm just in the process of putting a claim i with them as they're covered by a 4 year guarantee...

The wishbones were given to me as the originals were naffed. They came with the hd pbush and powerflex front bush. Meaning cant really put in a claim as i cant prove when they were purchased.

Another new part for the brakes came this morning Smile unsure wether to run standard pads on the disks and keep onto of replacing them frequently or run green stuff
