Couple more little bits done, found the brake vac pipe had chaffed through so made a little replacment unit and reduced the movement on it wit a p-clamp on tye 406 inlet pipe.

And decided to remove the aux belt to measure up for a pas delete belt. The plan was to measure it and start collecting the parts to fit an xsara vts quick rack without pas. Of course that hasnt gone to plan as per normal. Went to remove the idler pulley to measure the belt up and of course sods law the bolt sheared off in the block and now im forced to do the pas delete now. Anyway at least the bays a little bit cleaner....

After alot of faffing finally found a belt to run deleted aircon and deleted pas. The belt allows for the crank pulley, alternator and the tensioner to be ran. surprisingly the tensioner excerts quite abit of force still on tge belt. For anyone wanting to know tge size its 6pk803

Decided to sack of tye abs system as it had started to play up/lock up. This will also be providing me extra room for a larger turbo and relocation at a later date. [Image: e1413d2f576d11fec9dbeea78466080c.jpg]
So pretty much atm ive kept this as simple as possible, single line to the back split at the axel.
And a single line up front split.
Now atm im not a 100% wether or not i require a bias valve but atm the brakes seem fine, very sharp and responive to peddal movment and so much more predictable.
After alot of looking about i though that i shouldnt see any problems after removing the abs block but it seems ive now got the handbrake and abs light stuck on the dash. [Image: 2157fcd6986f07483bc907b69c5946d2.jpg]
As i understand i can now just remove the abs bulb, but cant get my head around the hand brake light, my fluid level is correct and if the block is plugged back in both lights vanish. Now am i too expect with a hdi that these have logged a fault code or have i done somthing wrong?

The handbrake light doubles as braking fault light, so it'll come on now you've removed the abs. No idea how to get rid of it, need to know myself lol.

With regards to the brake lines, there's a good reason the non-abs lines are usually split nsf/osr and osf/nsr, ie if you spring a leak on the circuit you don't immediately lose braking on one side of the vehicle and end up dangerously unbalanced. Had to go back and correct that on mine too lol.

Thats a pretty easy correction though. In kinda thinking this is to do with the ecu as it logs faults to do with abs.
Just sent whippy an email to see if he can shead some light

Ok so a couple of revalations, sortex the dash fault which was nothing more than this touching to pins in the plug. [Image: a46ccd138f26da3ca8faf8d573e9dba3.jpg]
And blew my turbo out the exhaust last night being a dick head on the way home from a car meet [OPEN HANDS SIGN] decided it was clever to race my car on an empty dual carriage way and turbo decided to spike off the gauge at 2bar and from what i gather shat the shaft. Exhaust is full of oil but luckerly inlet is not. And also got no boost what so ever so deffo dead turbo.
Had a spare gt15 kicking about and visited peugeot dealers today to collect all the genuine gaskets.
Depending on how easy this job is will also result in how soon i go for a bigger turbo.. basicly if i think its not too hard gt2052 here i come

No, i don't mean the lines being plumbed in wrong could cause the stop light, just that it's sketchy.

Bugger about the turbo, how on earth did it hit 2 bar?? Broken mbc perhaps..? Gt2052 is alright if you're good with the welder, needs adapting onto the manifold and a new downpipe on a different flange, plus obviously the oil lines etc.

From what i gather anf looking at my mbc pipes they dangled onto the exhaust mani anx burnt through causing the spike. Somthing i had looked at before as even had stainless over braid to try protect it but wasnt good enough.
Little worried as it emptied the sump but started up fine and ticked over. Anything over 'boost' revs and it rattles like made down the exhaust which im hoping is just the turbo ratterling. Inspected it best i could last night and seems the turbine on the cool side is jammed solid.
When replacing the turbo is there a gauze in the head or anything i will need to check?

Larger turbo will be next thing after the car lives again. Got a shit hot welder buddy.

Ah yeah, that'll do it lol. At least that's an easy enough fix.

Nothing to check when replacing the turbo, besides having a look for bits of compressor in the inlet anyway.

Managed to get the new turbo on and sort it out and in the process, tidy the bay up some more, relocate the mbc to the inner wing and redo all the inlet gaskets.

That's good going man. Assuming you've never done one. So fair play. Most people just give up when shit like this happens. I killed my gt15 then my k03 then my k14 started to die. It was never ending for me.

I will be getting mine dynoed there as well. The first time you do a job it takes time. When you want to upgrade in the future it will be quicker. Just keep old turbo as template. Smile took me 6 hours to get my engine out first time. Ive had it out so many times now at work with air tools I can have it out in two hours. Practice man. Smile I say good going for first attempt

Bit of a gay thing to add but broke my sub the other month. Got a cheap edge 10" 750 watt to replace it for £15 and works perfect! Was pretty badly beaten so decided to fettle it up and colour code it to the car [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] in my opinion looks ace now [Image: 0da991bc6a7684b9e66a6de0b40109c5.jpg][Image: 2038e8672527703c9e4b648c1135b0b6.jpg][Image: d57177dbe86acdb606ef4aef445936fe.jpg]

On a duller note managed to do the sump in on the car. Driving like a fool on a poor road and jumped the thing.

Thank got aggy came out and saved me [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] brought a sump, oil and gasket paste on a 100 mile round trip just to help me out! Hole was pretty impressive mind you
[Image: 448a666e03131411ce1f11c5ea114bc5.jpg]

Randomly decided to fit a couple of smd's to light up the ph1 center console tray at night. Annoyed with scramberling in the dark to find stuff as the main light dosnt seem to alluminate much at all
