Yeah keep at it man. This took me a few evenings with painting. Really wasn't too much hard work!

so today i have done more sanding, filling, sanding filling painting. and i was happy with it.

then the test fit, i have to bend it a tad to much to get it in and then clip into the vent controls. i cracked it again Sad, exactly the same place as i did yesterday.

when repairing it i cut a v shape along the crack and filled in it, i figured this would repair it best and allow me to hide it better.
put some on the back to give it some strength to. but its just not held up to the job lol

think im going to fit it, touch it up with paint and leave it. dont have to touch it again then.

i may get someone to make me one thats better with this sort of job,
im happy with it baring the 2 new cracks as it is the first time ive used the stuff to make anything at all lol.

Hey dude. I looked into this last year for my car. I recommend looking on
mp3car.com theres loads of advice and help to do this. Id also recommended buying the psu they have as it stores power to boot the computer down properly when your turn your ignition off. But keep this going as will be cool to see.

Keep sanding!

I put a 7" monitor in the bottom centre console. Then i stopped doing that. i relocated my radio just like yours. Had a ps2 in my estate but given up with it now. Just want decent sound and although having a PS2 was cool it was ultimately pointless!

In all honesty the pictures make it look alot worse than it looks in person. But I will redo it from scratch in the new year.

£20 plus return postage if you smooth it off ready to just flock

£40 to take it from what it is now to something that wont make people look at and go "thats s***"!

Tbf I'd just sand that back down and another skim of filler so it's all even then primer it and sand all the primer off that will ensure the surface is flat re primer and then paint Smile

10/10 for effort!
