Thought i may as well get a thread up on here since its becoming quite handy to me on here.
This is my 1st van and and bought it around 4 month ago, only bought it to get mine and a mates pit bikes around. Got the van nice and cheap for £300 due to needing a little work and having 250k miles on the clock. To be honest when i bought the van it felt awful to drive! knocking and banging.
1st jobs were:
* fit new front strut and 1 was leaking,
* new ball joints,
* new track rods,
* fit different wheels
* new steering wheel
Van drove like new after that Next up was to sort the back out as it was a right mess!!! Here are a few pics of what it was like after new parts were fitted.

I tried all sorts to get the sticky stuff off the old stickers what was on the van but i was having no luck with that at all so decided to go for something different and sticker up the an myself
Then got myself a recovery light for the top and bought some new seats

Next up was tidying up the inside and i also bought some coilovers and had the rear beam lowered. Quite surprised how well the rear axle came apart for the age and mileage of the van. Anyway here is how it is now.
Coilovers and astra front splitter:
Rear end dropped and interior:
I bought myself a 95 306 d.turbo nice and cheap on ebay. cant go wrong for £80 for a complete running car, only had the front end missing (bumper, wings and bonnet)
Everything went quite well to be honest, got the engine out of the van then engine out of the 306 and back into the van within a few hours. also painted my engne bay black while i had the engine out.
then i had to fit the 306 exhaust what came with a decat only problem then was that the 306 exhaust was about 6" too short so i removed the back box and had a spare straight through middle section off my old saxo vts what just went straight onto the back of the 306 middle section and i just cut it to fit the back bumper nice so i am now running a straight through exhaust with a little middle box in.
The engine has the lucas pump and the KKK K14 turbo with both have been tweaked to give the van that extra little poke. i am running 23psi of boost and pump has been turned up around 135oC with boost compensater turned in all the way then back out 1 turn. i see very little smoke from this and the van pills like a train.
Just ordered my fmic so just needing an xantia inlet and all the pipe work.
