hi there everyone ive just fitted a bailys dv36 twin piston dump valve to my dturbo got it all on the car with electric vacuum pump and micro switch after a big headache lol only problem now is my car was boosting 16psi before dump valve now only seem to be getting 11psi can any one help with this thanks Alistair

Moved as this is clearly not a guide...
My advice would be to remove the dump valve from your diesel. Other than that... there must be a leak somewhere.

Agree with all the above, I had one and removed it a week later as it just did't sound right.But to answer your question, check the gasket on the tmic if you removed it, check all jubilees, etc.....

I had one had to switch it off if wanted to boost over 22psi if its bot holding 16 then its not a twin piston one for a start

errr....you have to created the vacuum from somewhere to make the dumpvalve work....tells you something about why you dont and shouldnt have a dumpvalve on a derv
