biggest wheel spacer?
#1
Just wondering what the biggest spacer anyone has used with the standard length wheel bolts. Doing from cyclones et 18 ish to et 29 so hoping to only need around 6mm on the rear

6mm will take them to et12.

Why are you spacing them?

I would just get a set of 10mm hubcentric will bolts.

No I'm fitting et29s from an mi16. So will be about 23 so should be ok for fitment on 306.

Ok miss read the cyclone bit.

Still think getting 10's would be easier.

I've used standard bolts with 10mm spacers before but they were steel wheel bolts not flat ones

i used 5mm spacers with standard bolts and it stripped the threads whilst driving. very scary! never use standard bolts with any form of spacer!

also ET29 with 6mm spacers will look uber shite!! id go for 15mm spacers on the rear and 12mm on the front. both avalible on ebay with bolts but you will need to specify flat seat bolts

I ran 4mm spacers with standard bolts for a while without issue, although the seats on my steels are a little thinner than the standard ones. However, the thread is x1.25, so losing 6mm means 4 threads. Now think when there's only 7-8 in the hub in the first place... Wouldn't risk it myself.
