whishbones are fitted also found the anti roll bar clamp not fitted correctly it wernt located into the chassis
so sorted that went for a spin

Big Grin im smiling again
cars so much better it turns in quicker with the new wishbones, deffo pulls better with a cleaned airfilter and the revs dont stick so alls good now thats sorted too

also the clutch is booked in for next saturday Smile

at the moment im attacking some rust on the gutter above the drivers door,
so get that undercontrol before theres a hole in the roof

dremmel with a wire brush some kurust and some paint will sort that as its under the gutter rubber

clutch is Done what a shit of a job
thanks go's to Dum-Dum for some advice over the phone, or we would have been scratching our heads for a long while on how to disengauge the fork arm from the bearing
oil seal was replaced it looks as if the leak was from the sump though as the bolts were loose all cleaned up and refitted
dont want to do one of them again for a while!

clutch plate was well worn and the pressure plate was falling apart!

clutch is light and bits hard now!

yes tom exactly that too much money for what they are for the amount of use/ abuse they would get.
all the latest stuff ive bought like gear linkages, rear mounts, oil, filters, gearbox oil, have not cost me anything as the airbag resistor sales are paying for the parts, ive just got to fit them Smile

some quick pointers for changing the beam mounts
jack up car support car on the propper jack points to avoid damage

use penetrating oil on all bolts your going to slacken/remove

undo bolts while axle is mounted firm but dont remove bolts

slacken but dont remove

slacken but dont remove oposite side

remove top fixing bolts slowly lower side on jack caution watch brake lines!!
part remove lower bolt, fully remove top bolt
mount should wiggle out by tipping to the rear of the car

remove mount note offset

admire the used mounts

refit in the oposite manner

near side needs bottom damper bolt removing to let the arm swing lower to let bottom mouunt bolt out

only part remove lower bolt same as other side remove top bolt lower beam on jack caution watch brake lines!

refit new mount

admire your handy work

A/c switch mod
it turns the A/c button in the car to a cooling fan overide switch it brings on the fans at full speed

How.
disconnect the a/c compressor
